Description

This wet food is a protein reduced Renal Care and stone prevention wet food for adult dogs with kidney failure and oxalate stones and urate stones . Due to the low protein content and the use of high-quality proteins , there are fewer degradation products such asurea. Low levels of phosphorus support dogs with kidney disease as they are often unable to excrete excess phosphorus.  This will help to reduce the burden on the kidney and maintain kidney health. In addition If they take in excess minerals or calcium , the pH of the urine will be acidic which will lead to the formation of uroliths in the bladder and affect their urethral health. Therefore, low levels of calcium and minerals will help to maintain the health of the adult dog's urethra.
